Today’s review started out like this… While searching through the App Store in search of something cool to share with you (our readers) we stumbled upon a fun looking game we weren’t aware of… and so this is our quick review of Splish Splash Pong…
Splish Splash Pong (by Happymagenta) is a game about a little yellow duck that probably wanted to join Edamame Reviews. How do we know this? Because he has obviously been playing far too many video games!
Set in the middle of the ocean, your mission in this game is to help a little yellow duck survive the ludicrous idea of reenacting the classic game “Pong” using 2 sets of floats as the “Paddles” and himself as the “Ball”. The only issue? He chose shark infested waters…
As your duck speedily swims from one paddle to another, your mission in this game is to skillfully tap on the screen of your device in order to switch the direction in which your duck swims and hopefully prevent a disaster from happening.
The longer your duck survives, the more sharks begin passing by, forcing you to keep a close eye on what’s coming in order to survive…!
With a bunch of different cute and cuddly characters for you to unlock, a minimal number of ads, and the occasional “awesome run” where you survive for 5-10 laps without touching the screen even once, Splish Splash Pong is one of those games you download, play for a while, and then come back to Edamame Reviews for something more!

Splish Splash Pong is a cute game we could recommend to almost anyone in need of a cute game to kill 5 minutes here and there, just don’t expect too much functionality…
