Our interview with the Wondercape Games Team, The creators of Son of Santa

Merry Christmass! Are you enjoying an exciting Gamer Christmas? If so, today we’ve got the perfect interview for you.

Today we would like to share with you our interview with the Wondercape Games Team the creators of Son of Santa🎅🏻

Before we start, we’d like to thank the Wondercape Games Team for participating in our interview, and for spending some of their valuable time answering our questions. Thanks guys!

Now without any further ado, our interview begins.

The Interview

Ok first up, why did you decide to make Son of Santa?

We just wanted to make a nice game that we ourselves would like to play. Of course, by giving it a Christmas theme, we were hoping to improve the game’s visibility on the market.

Why did you decide to use pixel graphics when making Son of Santa?

There is just something so warm and cute about pixel graphics. Also, we had never done that before in our games, so this was a great opportunity to give it a try.

To be completely honest, our team sort of wished there was an “Endless Mode” as well as individual stages. Are there any plans to implement such a feature in future?

Well, the game already has some bonus stages, so why not add an endless mode in one of those. That is actually a really good idea!

Now for some geeky questions.
What programming language and or software did you use when making Son of Santa?

The game was made with Unity3D and we used C# as the programming language.

Ok, here’s a difficult question. What was the hardest problem you needed to overcome when developing Son of Santa?

Nothing major, it is a pretty small and simple game after all. There were some lag issues, but most of those problems are fixed now.

Last question. Where do you get your inspiration or ideas from?

The ideas mostly come from the games we’ve played and enjoyed, but a fun idea for a game might just come up over a couple of beers… Or ten 🍺 😃

A few words to Son of Santa fans on Edamame Reviews.

Besides working on new games, we are planning to do a major update to our already published endless runner game called Bimmy Bonkers. Stay tuned for that!

Lastly a few words on how you feel about Edamame Reviews and our service.

This is a great site you guys have here and we are glad we submitted our little game here. Keep up the good work!
