Running Dog – The most obedient dog on the planet?

Do you hate games that force you to continue running 0.1 to 0.4 seconds after you’ve released your finger from the screen of your device? Games like this are super annoying(!) and will make you wonder why you ever chose to download such a stupid game in the first place…

Running Dog: The Champion is a game about a dog that really is a champion. Set in an inherently long obstacle courses mostly made of spinning logs, logs smashing together, and logs just generally getting in your way, your mission in this game is to help the world’s most obedient dog navigate through this death trap without getting hurt.

The game is played by tapping and holding on the screen of your device to dash forward and releasing to instantly stop. Super easy! As far as we know there doesn’t seem to be a time limit which means you can take your time to navigate through each set of obstacles making this already simple game all the more simple and easy to play.

Now depending on what type of games you enjoy playing Running Dog: The Champion may actually be a little too simple because this is pretty much where this game ends. Besides an International Leaderboard and a Country Level Leaderboard you can battle to dominate, this is pretty much all you can expect.

If you find super simple games boring and/or a little pointless, Running Dog: The Champion probably isn’t the game you visited Edamame Reviews for. That said if you love playing simple games that feature a gameplay system that actually does what you tell it to, (i.e. no momentum that pulls you into obstacles! So frustrating…) this is a game you might want to check out.

With decent graphics, (nothing over the top, but nice), a gameplay system that is both extremely easy to learn and to play, and nothing else, Running Dog: The Champion is a game you can play distraction free whenever you need it most.
