As a child, did you ever play in the rock pools at the beach as the tide was slowly coming in? With every new wave of salty water, your small 3 year old size pool would become visibly deeper, until eventually one of your parents came and “rescued” you out of the fun you were having… (Thanks a lot Dad…)
Rise! is a game about a rocky path made of large blocks of stone and elevators, and is set in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. As is the case with most things that are built barely above sea level, the stage in this game is extremely vulnerable to changes in the tide, creating a real problem for your player, a white cube that must not get wet.
Your mission in this game is to prevent your cube from getting dunked by quickly racing up this stony staircase without crashing into anything that may slow your speedy escape.
Your cube will automatically race along the platform but with no way to jump or go around obstacles, your job is to tap on the screen of your device in order to raise and lower elevators that help elevate your cube to the next platform without slowing your escape down.
If you’re after a game that looks amazing this is a game you should really check out, although at the speed at which the game progresses, you won’t have much time to admire the scenery…😓
Need a speedy runner game with cool gimmicky elevators positioned in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean? If so, this is probably the only game on the app store that will fit the bill.
