Are you – like millions of others – currently addicted to a super short 51 second song known by the name Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen? (PPAP) Today we’ve got a game based so heavily around this song it is pretty much a playable version of Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen! Pretty crazy, but awesome nonetheless!
Pineapple Pen is Ketchapp’s take on Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen and we must say it’s pretty good. Based around the simple concept of shooting ball point pens at apples and pineapples that slowly drift back and forth across your screen, the game itself is based mostly around timing and is very easy to play.
Now at this point you may be wondering, so what is the difference between Ink Slime (a game based around pretty much the same concept) and Pineapple Pen? Well, the answer to that lies in the combos! You see, when you score a perfect hit two times in a row, creating an “Apple Pen!” and a “Pineapple Pen!” you are given the chance to achieve the ultimate combo a “Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen!”
…So, would you voluntarily choose to play this game over Ink Slime if Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen wasn’t like, “The most popular thing on the internet right now?” We don’t know, but while it lasts Pineapple Pen is a silly little game you can play with your friends who like Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen or use to annoy the ones who don’t😊
