Have you ever wanted to become a Dictator? Imagine ruling your own nation with an iron fist and ruthlessly crushing all those who oppose you! …the only problem is, how do you get there…?
Today we’ve got a game about managing your nation after seizing power over the people you now rule. Starting out with a budget of $1,500,000 and no less than 6 parties to appease in order to prevent your people from starting a revolution, Dictator Emergence is more than a little stressful.
With each turn, you are required to select one party (i.e. The Police, The Oligarchs, The People, The Opposition, The Army, or The Mafia) in order to solve whatever problem they request of your almightiness.
You are given two options, either “YES” or “NO”, and based on your decision, your popularity will either increase or decrease within the parties your decision effects, either directly or indirectly. After answering a few requests you will soon realize that this game is practically endless… and realistic…
By increasing your popularity within one section of your government you can receive bribes, we mean “donations”, you can then use to bribe, we mean “appease” the hard feelings another section of your government may have toward you.
Using this, you can skillfully manage your government and hopefully hold off a fully fledged revolution until the end of your dictatorship! …or at least until the end of your next turn…
With a simplistic design, an immersive gaming experience, and a minimal number of Ads to interrupt your dictatorship, Dictator Emergence is a game we would recommend to pretty much anyone! Except for perhaps Donald Trump…
