Commute – Pure annoyingness… on wheels!

Edamame Reviews has always been about giving our honest opinions… Kiary Games, how could you have ever made the simple task of “going to work” any more annoying…!

Commute is a game about going to work. More specifically going to work in seriously heavy traffic with brakes that “sort of” work. Your mission in this game is to survive what may be the longest traffic jam in the world. Continually stopping and going, your first challenge in this game is to stop without bumping into the car in front of you.

You see, your car’s brakes in this game – although useable – aren’t the best, meaning your car won’t stop anywhere near as fast as you would often like it to…😫  Once you’ve finally stopped bumping the cars in front of you (and behind of course…) it’s time to change lanes…

By swiping either left or right you can squeeze into gaps so as to get to work faster (Who would want to do that?) and gain points. Although relatively easy in the real world, in Commute a simple action such as switching lanes is often fatal, and requires an insanely high level of skill and technique.

To be completely honest this game is extremely annoying, but for some unknown reason we seem to keep coming back to it…

If you would like to play what may one day be known as the saddest “racing game” in the world, (Dude, let’s race to work! …What are we doing…😓 ) you’ve probably found it here…

Although annoying and a little sad, Commute has the same sort of addictive properties found in Flappy Bird and for some reason keeps us coming back for more over and over again…
