Color Trail – A wonderfully splashy adventure…💦

Are simple, almost minimalist style games with a somewhat mystical look and feel your type of game? If so, chances are you’re feeling just a little flooded with brand new games to play because today we’ve got yet another one for you to check out…

Color Trail is a game that mimics a million other runner games we’ve reviewed, just in its own uniquely slushy style.💦 Set on a minimalist style stage that consists of a winding narrow path with sharp 90º bends, and a few towers that collapse the moment you move anywhere near them, your mission in this game is to speedily dash through the stages of this game without crashing and falling to your… 💀

Played using a simple (Tap Based) control system that allows you to both jump and change directions depending on the circumstances of the stage ahead, Color Trail is an extra simple game to play without a high level of skill or coordination.

In fact, at times we were sure we had missed a 90º turn and were expecting our player, (a colored cube), to topple over the edge of the stage, never to be seen again…! But, to our surprise, we continued on without a hiccup until the next turn where we completely screwed things up.😅

With a familiar type of level design, spiced up with a splashy set of leaking paint-bucket style visuals, Color Trail is another great game to add to your collection.

The Conclusion

Are you ready to paint your way through a colorful world filled with sharp turns and equally sharp obstacles? Although we wouldn’t call this game “highly original”, its high level of quality and intuitiveness are enough to make gamers excited!
