When was the last time you played Pokemon GO? Assuming you had the game on your phone at one stage or another, chances are you are either still a “devoted fan” or the lack of promised features, and in some cases, Pokemon themselves quickly dried up your enthusiasm for the game.
For anyone willing to give the game another try during the holiday season, we’ve got good news! The first is pretty much summed up by this one Tweet from @PokemonGoApp.
Trainers, we've observed increased numbers of Pokémon sightings in parks and other outdoor locations in urban and rural areas.

Pokemon spawn rates have been increased! For those living in urban or rural areas, this may be the biggest game changer update ever made to the game. Although we were unable to obtain any official numbers, estimates are that spawn rates have been increased by upwards of 200% to 300%.
This sudden increase in spawn rates has spiked yet another issue among devoted Pokemon GO fans, “Not enough Pokemon Balls!” The abundance of Pokemon which now spawn around parks and other such outdoor locations is so great a “small stash” of 100 to 150 Pokemon balls will soon dry up… (A new first world problem?)
Now, the next feature is HUGE, Generation 2 Pokemon are coming to Pokemon Go!
Togepi hatched! Which other Pokémon originally found in the Johto region have you hatched? pic.twitter.com/hq9tGGgSgV
